Why should I choose Zebra Square over other venues for my event?

We believe that every event should be unique, and our multiple spaces are designed to be dynamic and versatile so as to fit a wide range of uses and needs. Unlike ballrooms and function halls, our spaces are easily customisable. Additionally, we’re centrally located in Kuala Lumpur yet are somewhat ‘hidden’ from the bustle of the city centre, therefore affording privacy and a cosy venue.

Are there are hotels nearby?

We are just 5-10 minutes’ drive from Bukit Bintang, which is one of the main hotel belts in Kuala Lumpur. There, you’ll find hotels for all levels and types of travel budgets, from trendy boutique accommodations to 5-star international chains.

Is Zebra Square a smoking venue?

Our indoor spaces are non-smoking zones. Smoking is permitted in the outdoor terraces and open-air areas adjacent to the entrance. Ash trays are always stationed in the designated areas.

Do I have to use Zebra Square’s caterers and vendors?

Our central kitchen caters food for all our events. Hence, we are unable to accommodate outside caterers (except for certain occasions, such as cooking demonstration by a celebrity chef).

As for other vendors – such as sound system – we do not restrict who you use. We can also recommend vendors that we work regularly with, who are familiar with our venue, policies and procedures, and whom we know to have the necessary experience to make your event a success.

Can I bring in my own event organiser?

Yes, you may be represented by an event organiser. Our panel of event experts can also assist you in planning your event.

Is there parking at Zebra Square?

Yes, our car park can accommodate up to 15 cars for VIP vehicles.

Will someone from Zebra Square be overseeing my event?

Yes, an Event Manager will be present throughout your event. He/She will be there to manage the programme flow, handle queries from vendors and suppliers, and see to it that your event will go on without a glitch.

What kinds of events are held at Zebra Square?

Annual and gala dinners, grand weddings, product launches, small private parties…there is no limit as to the type of event we can host. In fact, we continuously look forward to have different events and welcome the challenge of making each one special.

Can I customise the menu for my event?

Definitely! We will arrange for our chefs to meet with you and discuss your palates and preferences.

Yes, you may be represented by an event organiser. Our panel of event experts can also assist you in planning your event.

What are the rules and regulations of decorating the space?

Please speak to our event team for more details.

Will there be a place for me to get ready or freshen up prior to my event?

Yes, subject to availability and your specific requirements. We do have a couple of rooms that can be used as VIP holding room, secretariat room or bridal room on a complimentary basis. We also have restrooms with shower facilities. Please speak to our event team for more details.​

How do I hold a date that I am interested in?

As a courtesy, we can put a “soft hold” on the date you require. Should another party inquire about your desired date, you will be notified and given 24 hours to decide if you wish to proceed with your booking. If we do not receive your confirmation, the date will be released.

 

To secure the date you want, please place a deposit of 50% of the total sum. The remaining amount must be paid 7 days before the event.

 

Please speak to our event team for more details, as we also operate on a first come first serve basis.

Can we use your other spaces for photography sessions, apart from the one we have rented?

In order to protect the privacy of all our clients, we ask that you only use the space that you have rented for your photography. Spaces that are not in use will be closed off.

Will there be an opportunity to taste your food before the event?

Yes, subject to proposal, we can arrange for a food tasting session before you confirm the menu.

Is Zebra Square wheelchair accessible?

Yes, all our main event spaces on the Ground Floor are fully wheelchair accessible. Please note that spaces on the first floor are only accessible via staircases.

What are your payment policies?

A deposit of 50% of the total sum is required to book the event date and space. The remaining 50% has to be paid 7 working days before the event. We accept payment in cash and cheques.

Cancellation Policy

In the event that you cancel (or are deemed to have cancelled) your booking with us after confirmation for whatever reason, the following cancellation charges will apply:

(a) any Deposit(s) paid shall be forfeited absolutely to us;

(b) where cancellation takes place within the period from the date of confirmation up to seven (7) days prior to the Event: you must pay to us a sum equivalent to the Deposit (if the Deposit has not been paid) as agreed compensation to us;

(c) where cancellation takes place within seven (7) days prior to the Event date: you must pay to us the full License Fee agreed upon (including the Deposit if it has not been paid) as agreed compensation to us.
